Some years ago I began to conduct our family farm together with my parents, my husband and grandparents. The B&B came later.
Il Palagio was completely restored by my father, Fabrizio, building contractor who has also built a wonderful wine cellar for our farm.
The B&B La Piazzetta, which was built at the beginning of the 80s and completely restored by my father in 2000, is now a modern and inviting bed & breakfast.
The country house in our wine-growing estate offers comfortable, cozy and well-kept apartments.
The B&B disposes of wide rooms with bathroom and WC as well as a wonderful view.
Thanks to the collaboration with my husband, Franco Guarducci, restorer, I could furnish the apartments in the country house with antique furniture and work of art of his production. His work of art and pictures are also placed in the B&B.
My granny Aldemara and my father take care of the garden as well as the vegetable garden of the wine-growing estate: they enjoy seeing how tomatoes and vegetables grow.
This makes the country house more inviting.
The garden at the B&B is my territory where I take care of the flowers and fruit trees.
My mother Marta helps us as necessary.
The most reserved member of my family is my grandpa Guido who takes care of the garden and the vegetable garden with fun and passion.
As you see, our country house and our B&B do not belong to a big hotel chain but to a family business just like many others in this region. We help one another and make our best. We do not always agree with one another: every one of us has a different view and needs but we are happy if our guests appreciate our job and feel at ease.
